The forum is a bit slow, probably due to our habits. For example, I go on the forum in the morning to check it out for a while, and then I stop using it until evening when I turn off my computer. It’s not about being online for long periods; it’s just that I occasionally take another look, and logging in again is too much of a hassle. Keeping the browser open slows down the speed, but it increases traffic. Should I keep it open?
Personally, I think this is a matter of individual habit; there’s no need to worry too much about it!
It’s better not to log out, as it affects the server’s speed. Relogging in isn’t a hassle; just add the page that appears after logging into the forum to your bookmarks, and you’ll be able to access the forum with one click next time.
Hang it; there’s no way to enforce this – it’s a matter of personal preference. Broadband expansion will be considered in the coming years.
Personally, I think being offline doesn’t affect the forum’s speed, as the forum only keeps track of your active time; any inactive time is limited to 20 minutes at most. By the way, it seems that the admin uses Wubi, which caused the word \" Force \" to be typed as \" Induce \", haha. This post was last edited by bluetop on 2008-2-3 at 14:26.]
Whether the server is running or not should have little impact on the forum’s speed. As for the boss saying that the forum’s speed needs to be improved, I don’t think that’s necessary; in my opinion, the forum’s speed is already fast enough. How fast does it need to be to be considered fast? ? Hehe, when Zhao Benshan speaks, there’s no limit to how much he can say – what kind of bicycle does he even need! ! ! :lol
Oh, is that so? I’ve always been like you; is that what’s called being offline? I wonder if this will also affect the speed of the forum? Will this work? A bit skeptical. But it’s better to believe than not. It’s better to change one’s own habits first; as long as it’s beneficial for everyone. --It’s not entirely a *habit issue, actually. Sometimes, while I’m reading a post, some other work comes up and I have to take care of that first. I left it there without finishing reading the post. There are many such situations; I believe everyone has encountered them. Hehe. This post was last edited by Ma Pingmou on 2008-2-3 12:41.]
The boss changed “force” to “induce”; just use “must”: lol Amazing! Random talk: There’s nothing special about leaving the forum idle; modern servers have automatic adjustment features, with instructions to connect within 20 minutes after first logging in and then disconnect automatically. It doesn’t matter either. Regarding internet speed, of course, the faster, the better – it’s directly related to our interests. And if it’s not just for coming in and taking a look, but new content can also be added continuously, that’s great.
