The hydrogenation reactor design proposed by Sinopec for Tianjin has been approved. Recently, a review meeting and pre-inspection session regarding the manufacturing plan for the 2.25CrIMo+V hydrogenation reactors to be used in the 1.8 million tons per year hydrocracking unit of Tianjin’s million-ton ethylene project were held at China National Heavy Machinery Corporation. The manufacturing plan has been successfully approved, and equipment production will be completed in August this year. In September 2006, ERDC successfully developed a 3.3 million tons per year diesel refining hydrogenation reactor for Sinopec Shanghai Jinshan Petrochemical Company, marking its mastery of the core manufacturing technology for large-scale hydrogenation reactors. In addition to petrochemical hydrogenation reactors, ERE also took on the task of developing the hydrogenation reactors, which are core equipment in Shenhua’s coal liquefaction plant.
