Gentlemen, under what circumstances is a heat carrier furnace used? What are common heat carriers? What happens when a heat carrier oxidizes over time, and how should that be dealt with? It seems there are quite a few issues; I hope everyone here will be kind enough to offer their guidance! Thank you!
Heat transfer fluids are usually thermal oil; with proper use, oxidation can be delayed. If that’s not possible, then the oil has to be replaced. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Various manufacturers offer many different models; it mainly depends on the temperature at which you need to use it. It’s rare to see recycled versions. With good quality oil, the device can last for over five years. If you need detailed information, I can send it to you

The heat carrier we use here is heavy diesel from the 280–340 degree fraction, but it oxidizes severely after just one year of use, causing blockages in the heat exchangers and pipelines; there is no good solution other than replacing it with new oil.
