The gas production and carbon conversion rate have been increased by half, the comprehensive cost has been reduced by 10%, and the environmental protection problems of sulfide and carbon dioxide emissions from intermittent gas furnaces have been completely solved. They first successfully carried out high-intensity gasification on a 3.0m series fixed-bed gas furnace using briquettes as raw materials. On this basis, they spent more than 10 months on technical research on the oxygen-enriched continuous gasification of briquettes, and finally achieved success. At present, the newly put into operation of Sanming Chemical's oxygen-enriched gas furnace has increased gas production by 50% when burning briquettes in a single furnace. Compared with the intermittent gasification process, the comprehensive cost of ammonia per ton has dropped by about 10%. The coal consumption into the furnace has dropped by about 30%. The fixed carbon content in the slag has dropped from 20% in the intermittent gas furnace to less than 5%. Transforming the fixed-bed intermittent gas furnace into a new oxygen-rich continuous gasification process using briquettes as raw material can solve all these problems. Currently, there are more than 5,000 fixed-bed intermittent gasification gas furnaces in the national nitrogen fertilizer industry. They not only have problems such as low carbon conversion rate and high energy consumption, but also emit large amounts of sulfide and carbon dioxide.
