Are you going back to your hometown for the Spring Festival?

I have returned home from out of town for the Spring Festival; I wonder how the friends on the forum spent their Spring Festival?
It was my first year at work, and I didn’t go home that year. I missed my parents back home, but I had no way of returning! ::'( :'(
The Spring Festival is primarily a time for family and friends to get together; this is a traditional Chinese practice as well as a natural human tendency. Offering condolences to those who didn’t return home for the New Year!:handshake

It was really difficult to get home during the heavy snows in 07... But it still felt good to be at home:loveliness:
The heavy snow in 2007 proved everyone’s determination to return home. Our classmates’ homes were affected by the snowstorm; we had to travel across half of China before we could get back home – it was really not easy. The heavy snow couldn’t stop us from going home. Family ties are always so profound; no matter when I have time, I must make sure to visit home often
