The value of S is specified in the HG20595 standard; in practice, this value of S can be greater than or smaller than that specified in the standard. How large can it be? How small can it be?
When selecting flanges, the wall thickness of the steel pipe for butt welding should be specified, so as to avoid any issues related to wall thickness variations.
The value of s can be indicated directly, and it can be determined with reference to the wall thickness grade of the steel pipe. :)
Since most of the values in standard flanges are empirical, it is not possible to determine exactly how high the limit of the S value can be. Some advice: It is recommended that when using the HG20595 flange, its S value should meet the values specified in the standards; for flanges that do not meet these specified values, a custom design should be carried out based on the values set out in the standards. :)
Consider the thickness of the pipe fitting; if it is larger than the pipe fitting, use the standard values, and if it is smaller, use the values corresponding to the pipe fitting
HG20595 and HG20533 should be used together.
