　　On October 17, 2002, the China National Machinery Industry Federation issued document No. Zhongji Lian Biaozhi [2002] 356, in which it announced four industry standards for explosion-proof motors among the 166 machinery industry standards approved by the **Economic and Trade Commission. These standards are as follows: (1) Standard No. 140, JB/T 7565.2—2002 – Technical specifications for flameproof three-phase asynchronous motors, Part 2: Flameproof three-phase asynchronous motors of the YB2?W, YB2?TH, YB2?THW, YB2?TA, and YB2?TAW series (frame sizes 63 to 355); the standard that was replaced by this one is JB 9596—1999； 　(2) Item No. 144, JB/T 9593-1—2002 Technical Requirements for Flameproof Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors for Coal Mines – Part 1: YBK 2 series of flameproof three-phase asynchronous motors for use in coal mines (frame sizes 100–315); (the standard it replaces is: JB 9593-1 1999) ； 　(3) Item No. 145, JB/T 10352—2002 Technical specifications for YFB series dust-proof three-phase asynchronous motors (frame sizes 63–355) ； 　(4) Item No. 146, JB/T 10353-1—2002 Technical Requirements for Flameproof Motors Used in Fuel Filling Machines – Part 1: Flameproof Three-Phase Asynchronous Motors of the YBJY Series for Fuel Filling Machines (frame sizes 63–100). The above standards have been in effect since December 1, 2002. ? ? The new standards for explosion-proof motor products have been published as follows: 1. JB/T 8593?1－2002 Technical specifications for flameproof three-phase asynchronous motors for use in coal mines – Part 1: YBK2 series of flameproof three-phase asynchronous motors for use underground in coal mines (100–315) ； ? 2.JB/T 10352－2002 Technical specifications for YFB series dust-proof three-phase asynchronous motors (63～355) ； ? 3.JB/T10353?1－2002 Technical specifications for flameproof motors used in fuel dispensers – Part 1: Flameproof three-phase asynchronous motors of the YBJY series for fuel dispensers (63–100) ； ? 4.JB/T 7565-2002 Technical specifications for flameproof three-phase asynchronous motors – Part 2: Flameproof three-phase asynchronous motor series YB2-W, YB2-Th, YB2-ThW, YB2-Ta, YB2-TAW (63–355). ?
