The homepage of the forum has been redesigned today, but it still looks a bit messy. After examining it carefully for some time, I think the problem lies in the scrolling area: its background color is the same as the overall background color, and the font and color are identical to those of the main text, which makes it difficult to draw visual attention to it. The content in this scrolling area consists mainly of notifications and other messages that those who log in to the forum need to be aware of right away, whether they are members or visitors. The way it scrolls creates a visually chaotic effect, so I suggest redesigning this scrolling area, with distinct colors used to give visitors a fresh feeling upon arriving at the HaiChuan homepage and to leave a lasting impression on them.
As I understand it, it’s the New Year, and more red colors are used to create a festive atmosphere; it’s like when newspapers are covered in red during holidays, and they might return to their normal appearance after the holidays end.
