I rated several times and found that my wealth hadn’t decreased. After checking, I learned that the wealth used for rating is provided by the forum. I think this is not appropriate; I prefer to use my own wealth to rate high-quality content. In the long run, it’s like in a society – there are already daily bonuses available, and if rating rights are also given to users with wealth provided by the forum, it’s easy for that wealth to be provided indefinitely. Over time, this will lead to a decline in the value of that wealth, reducing its attractiveness and preventing the formation of a healthy cycle. Additionally, using one’s own wealth can effectively prevent the problem of the same person creating multiple accounts to rate each other’s content
The original poster’s suggestion is suitable for those who are quite wealthy. Lower-grade students don’t have much wealth to begin with; if they were also required to assign a wealth score themselves, who would be willing to do so? Moreover, although there are daily red envelopes, the next book generally requires 10–20 units of wealth, and this wealth is depleted quite quickly. The forum already has a rule stating that accounts with the same IP address cannot rate each other, which I think helps to prevent the situation where one person uses multiple accounts to rate. The existing wealth-transfer feature in the forum essentially prevents members with short registration durations or low points from transferring wealth to those with longer registration durations or higher points, which to some extent eliminates the phenomenon of small accounts or fake profiles transferring wealth to larger accounts. The overall trend regarding wealth in a forum should be balanced; for example, the consumption caused by downloading attachments or exchanging membership points for privileges helps to maintain this balance. Installing additional plugins can also result in a consumption of wealth, but most of these plugins are for entertainment purposes and do not align well with the purpose of the forum. From what I’ve observed, a large proportion of members exchange wealth for charm, so the owner’s concerns can be alleviated to some extent.
