In order to meet the needs of those who are responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of petrochemical equipment, so that they can understand these devices better, know their structure, performance, functions, as well as potential faults and preventive measures, thereby improving their ability to identify risks, resolve faults, and carry out proper operations and daily maintenance, Sinopec Press has compiled a series of books under the title “Series of Questions and Answers on Petrochemical Equipment Technology”. These books cover various types of equipment commonly found in petrochemical plants, such as pumps, compressors, fans, and drive units; various industrial furnaces, towers, reactors, and pressure vessels; storage tanks, heat exchange equipment; as well as various industrial pipelines and valves.
