Our company needs to use metallic sodium in the production process. The finished sodium product is in block form, and to ensure complete reaction, it is necessary to cut these sodium blocks into particles or threads before using them. In the past, we used cutting machines for this purpose; after cutting, the sodium was transported to the reaction vessel using special vehicles, which was time-consuming, labor-intensive, required a lot of kerosene, and carried high risks. I’m wondering if there are any more advanced cutting methods that would allow the sodium to be cut directly and then added to the vessel. I appreciate any advice from experts. Thank you!
