For pipes at a temperature of 650 degrees, what materials are suitable for the pipes, flanges, and gaskets? Last edited by Hua Ming on 2008-2-3 10:14]
The medium needs to be understood, as well as the operating conditions, before recommendations can be made; most of these are imported materials or products from joint venture factories
Agree with the suggestion from above: for a 650-degree gasket, a metal toothed gasket should be used
The properties of the fluid aren’t clearly specified; it’s not stated whether the fluid is corrosive, nor what type of corrosion it causes. With only the temperature information available, it’s difficult to determine anything
