No problem, it’s a common method; of course, the manufacturing precision and material quality must be excellent
Whether air will leak to stage 6 depends on where the balance section is located and how many stages it is connected to. If the balance section is not on the cover side or the shaft side, then any leakage from stage 7 will occur towards the balance section; as long as the balance section is not connected to stage 6, there will definitely be no leakage to stage 6. :Lol. Also, it’s not really possible to achieve complete leak-free piston rings; it’s just not necessary for them to leak to the sixth level.
In our 6M50 unit, the sixth and seventh sections are separate; they are not designed to be integrated together
Leakage is inevitable, but we can control it so that it only occurs in the balance tube. :lol
Air leakage can occur when the piston rings are excessively worn, or when there is excessive wear on the cylinder walls, as well as in cases where the packing fails.
