Our factory is in urgent need of a new copper melt water cooler: the original one suffered from corrosion, which led to significant leaks of the copper melt. After taking measures to seal the leaks, the effect was not significant, and there was a tendency for the leaks to continue expanding. Later, a water cooler was taken from the caustic soda branch plant, but it started leaking again. I would like to ask now, where are the copper liquid water coolers that perform well? Our plant now produces 80,000 tons of synthetic ammonia!
Copper melt shouldn’t be very corrosive; then why would corrosion and leakage occur? If that is indeed the case, the root cause of the corrosion should be identified and addressed; simply replacing the equipment is not a good solution. Once it is determined that corrosion is inevitable, any replacement equipment should be made of corrosion-resistant materials or have been treated to prevent corrosion; it does not matter which company manufactured it. :lol
