A new year has begun, and the maintenance of the equipment is about to start. I work with instruments used in oil refining. May I ask, what plans do you guys have for instrument maintenance, and what tasks do you carry out during this process? Our facilities include atmospheric and vacuum distillation, catalysis, coking, and hydrogen addition – everyone is welcome to discuss
1. Technical improvement and optimization projects should be proposed based on the issues identified by the process and instrumentation teams during daily operations； 2. Projects that cannot be stopped for maintenance during normal operation ； 3. Calibration of various transmitters ； Inspection of pressure switches, calibration of control valves, replacement of packing; if there is internal leakage, grinding may be required, as well as the replacement of internal components. 4. Various interlocks for calibration before startup after maintenance. 5. The inspection of shaft vibration and shaft displacement sensors, as well as temperature sensors, within large-scale units must be carried out in coordination with the progress of the maintenance department. 6. If there is enough time, some work on auxiliary instrumentation devices can also be done. 7. When making a plan, categorize items properly and list them all to ensure nothing is missed. It is also necessary to distinguish between work done by one’s own department and work outsourced to other departments.
