If there is no impact on the delivery of liquid chlorine pump, or the impact is acceptable, forget it and clean it every time it is inspected.; If the outlet pressure of the pump is very high and the flow rate is greatly reduced, I suggest you disassemble and adjust the filter first. I guess there is something wrong with the acid mist filter in your front-end process (I wonder what equipment you use for chlorine compression? )
This situation often occurs in our company, but our filter is installed at the inlet of the pump. Even so, when the submersible pump is disassembled, there are a lot of yellow-green and red things attached to the pump body and the intermediate tank. The qualitative test is acidic, mainly containing chloride ions, iron ions, sulfate ions, etc., which can also indirectly indicate that the water content in the chlorine gas is high, or the water is brought into the chlorine gas from other places, or should the analysis method be adjusted or replaced?
This can be determined to be caused by a process or equipment problem in the chlorine treatment system. The specific problem of whether it is a water mist processor, a chlorine drying tower or an acid mist trap needs to be analyzed based on the on-site conditions. At present, I understand that the unit with a relatively high level of chlorine treatment is Shanghai Chlor-Alkali. It is recommended that you deal with it as soon as possible, even if it is some temporary measures. Otherwise, the damage to the liquid chlorine submersible pump will be great.
Is the interval between replacement and cleaning long? Is that acceptable? If it is not acceptable, it may be that the filter itself is not good. You can change it to a filter with a larger filter area, which will alleviate the blockage a lot.
When this happens, the key is to start with chlorine and hydrogen treatment. Temporarily, the filter area can be enlarged to extend the cleaning cycle.
