Generally, it must be placed outdoors in the south. Since the outside temperature is relatively low in the north, it may freeze. Therefore it is recommended: 1. Place it indoors, but lead a drainage pipe to the outside. The water pipe needs to be tilted outward to prevent freezing. 2. Place it outdoors, but take insulation measures.
In winter, the pinhole of the trap will freeze and it will no longer function as a trap.
