Our company has newly installed a 150,000-ton ion-exchange membrane caustic soda production system, and we plan to use a DCS system for its control. Some of the equipment is supplied as complete units by the manufacturers, equipped with built-in PLC controls or small DCS systems. We are now looking for an experienced automation manufacturer to integrate these components into a single DCS system. I hope that those with experience can recommend some companies so that I can learn more about them. # , , &
There are quite a few in Zhejiang Zhongkong. There are also many from the Heng River.
In the chlor-alkali industry, Zhejiang University Zhongkong should have achieved significant results. It’s a good choice.
I’ve used Zhejiang University Zhongkong’s product for 2 years (it has since changed its name); its performance is fairly good. It has the best performance in China, and its price is low – imported versions cost several times as much
The first phase of Shandong Haihua Chlor-alkali Resins Company uses Honeywell products, as does the second phase of Beijing Nanshan; however, the systems often crash, and key parameters such as pressure difference frequently show question marks
What’s most annoying is that when the plant shuts down due to interlock failures, all the key parameters show as questions
The listening and speaking configuration for Zhejiang University Zhongkong cannot be downloaded online. Is that true?
How about Rosemount and Siemens? Have you used them?
Using Emerson is a good choice; it’s expensive, but it’s reliable and easy to maintain
Our unit uses Hengxi West Instruments, and it has been operating stably for over two years.
Zhejiang University is affordable; Henghe is stable. If funds are sufficient, it is recommended to use the Ganges.
Our company’s fifth phase of caustic soda production uses Yokogawa equipment, and the output of ion exchange membranes has reached 450 kt/a!
By the way, how much would a system with a capacity of 150,000 tons per year cost approximately?
Which manufacturer are you from? I have encountered screws of extremely high quality in previous bidding projects. Do you need a moisture analysis instrument of type CL2? match_0@163.com
We’ve been using the Hengxi West Instrument, and it’s pretty good
We use the control system from Zhejiang University; it’s an imported system as well, and it’s quite good. Maintaining and setting up this system can be a bit troublesome, but one advantage of it is that it can be used for other development tasks, which is great
In my experience, the preferred choice for the polymerization process is DeltaV; this system is safe, stable, reliable, and easy to maintain. The downside is that it’s relatively expensive.
Don’t even consider Zhejiang University Zhongkong – it’s terrible. It runs incredibly slowly, crashes frequently, and there’s no time to deal with the repairs.
