Filter in the degassing bin: product purge bin filter. Filter at the bottom of the degassing bin: low product purge bin filter. Why is the degassing bin referred to as a product purge bin?
As for why the purge bin is called a “degassing chamber,” “Guanyue” has the most insight on this; it relates to the production process of PP (polypropylene) or PE (polyethylene), I believe. Because in this warehouse, nitrogen is generally used to purge residual hydrocarbons in order to meet the product specification requirements. Product, purge, cleaning, bin – put together these terms give us the product cleaning bin. Since the product coming out of the reactor contains hydrocarbon gases, it needs to undergo a desorption process, which is a similar cleaning process; it is a process of removing gases from the product, and that’s why it is called a degassing bin.
