Does any student know why the heavy dirty oil in the hydrocracking unit needs to be vented first and then sent out of the device? Why not directly use a pump to send the heavy dirty oil to the pump outlet of the vent tank instead of pumping it into the vent tank? Please give guidance, students!
I think the heavy dirty oil you are talking about carries a certain amount of flammable gas and water. The function of entering the vent tank is to separate the oil, gas and water. The gas enters the flare system, and the separated heavy dirty oil is boosted by a pump and sent out of the device.
What you said above makes sense, but the top of our heavy-duty oil tank is wired to the inlet of the low-pressure vent tank, and the oil goes into the high-pressure vent tank. Is it simply for dehydration?
The purpose of emptying the tank is to remove light components and water. Has a flash evaporation effect.
The main purpose of hydrogenating heavy oil emptying tank is to remove flammable light hydrocarbons and cut water from heavy oil.
