I would like to ask for advice. The current process parameters for the pressure tower in my factory are as follows: the temperature at the bottom of the tower is 124 degrees, while it is 112 degrees at the top; the pressures at the top and bottom of the tower are almost the same, at 0.45 MPa. With the exception of the slightly higher temperature at the bottom, the differences in temperature between other points are less than 1 degree. The moisture content in the product is 0.01%, which meets the requirements. However, the alcohol content at the bottom of the tower is currently 75%, while it is 85% in the feed material. This results in the atmospheric pressure tower being prone to overpressure, making it difficult to control the situation. How can I reduce the alcohol content in the pressure tower? In a situation like the one you described, I think there is not enough extractive water; therefore, your recovery ratio should be low. You can try adding more extractive water to the pre-treatment tower.
What is your prognosis score? The alcohol content in the output from the pressure tower is high. The pressure tower should increase production and reduce reflux. Increase the temperature at the bottom of the pressure tower. Calculate your reflux ratio.
