When performing a pressure test for leak detection on the unit, should the pump and its components, including the filters, also be subject to such a test? I think it will damage the filter.
Generally, it is possible to operate with an empty cavity without installing an inner core before compression.
Our pump was installed right after it was purchased; otherwise, we would have to take it apart! Isn’t this a bit troublesome?
In principle, to flush the pipeline it is necessary to remove the filter element or replace the filter with a bypass; pressure testing and airtightness tests should be carried out after this has been done. There is no issue with the pressure applied to the filter; it’s best to fill it with water in the direction of the medium flow.
