I would like to ask the experienced colleagues: are there any recommended Chinese-English dictionaries for the petrochemical industry? It’s very difficult to find them in bookstores!!
“The Illustrated Glossary of Petrochemical Engineering in English and Chinese” is good; it’s already available in the resources section.
\"English-Chinese Dictionary of Science and Technology\", compiled by the Department of Foreign Languages at Tsinghua University, published by National Defense Industry Press; \"English-Chinese Two-Way Dictionary of Petrochemical Technology\", published by Tianjin Science and Technology Translation Publishing House. The entries in these dictionaries are accurate and comprehensive, and they are available in all major bookstores.
Moderators might as well type in “oil + dictionary” and search within Haichuan; there are many dictionaries available, and some specialized terms need to be learned on one’s own: handshake
