Critical equipment (such as cooling water pumps and mixing devices) should have a backup power supply, equipped with a UPS (to ensure 30 minutes of power supply). 2. The emergency terminator addition system must be in good condition to ensure it can be injected promptly in case of an abnormal situation. 3. The nitrogen system should be checked regularly to ensure that the pressure is within the required range; (a company in Beijing experienced an explosion due to insufficient nitrogen pressure during a power outage, as nitrogen could not be supplied in time – of course, this was just one of the factors involved). 4. Open the valve of the sedimentation tank promptly, and the pressure can be relieved immediately, thereby gaining time for handling. 5. Emergency plans are crucial.
