I need to obtain an inspection certificate for pressure vessels of Category D this year. Could you advise me on which books I should read? I’m not sure about the difficulty level Seek advice from those who have experience
Grade D seems quite simple, but that’s not the case. The exams are not taken separately; the content is the same, with the difference being that the score for Grade D is 5 points lower than that for Grade A.
Class D isn’t as simple as one might think! There are many books that need to be read: 150, 150, tolerance standards, horizontal equipment, vertical equipment, standards for components, materials, welding, non-destructive testing, and so on. It is recommended to look at more past exam questions!
I want to take the exam too. Thank you for posting this
I’m going to take the Category D exam this year as well, but it’s sufficient to take the provincial-level assessment; it’s probably simpler compared to the national one.
:L A person who is going to attend training for an assessment exam still doesn’t know what to read. It seems this certificate isn’t necessary after all……
Hehe; Last time I went for the exam, I met many people who weren’t actually in the relevant field; they were just trying to get a certificate ;
It’s actually not that difficult. As far as I know, many people who are not from this field can obtain this certificate; it’s even easier for those who are in this field. Just study the training materials provided carefully and you’ll be fine.
The D certificate can be obtained by taking the exam at the provincial level; why go through the exam organized by the Rong Biao Wei? Besides, \"It’s not difficult for those who know how to do it; it’s difficult for those who don’t.\" You can’t rely on last-minute cramming to pass this exam – what’s important is having the necessary skills; otherwise, you’re just hurting yourself.
There is a book titled \"Training Manual for Pressure Vessel Engineers\"; it’s worth checking out, as many of the questions come from it. There seems to be a forum related to it, and it’s in green cover
