The flue dampers in heating furnaces often get stuck after being in use for a year or so; let’s discuss what good methods exist to prevent this and deal with it
Move the bearings of the flue baffle outward to reduce its temperature, thereby extending the lifespan of the grease; then apply grease regularly
I’ve seen personally that graphite seems to be added. The effect is pretty good.
I agree with the view expressed in Building 2#. However, whether external bearings are used or graphite packing is employed, the baffle should still be moved regularly； We are using an external bearing design here, and jamming still occurs.
