There is internal leakage in the bypass line of the feed oil control valve in our hydrogenation unit. Do any of you have any good solutions? The principle is that operations must not stop.
This is basically very difficult; it seems there’s no way around it either, haha. The control valve can be set to a low opening degree to keep production running, with the replacement scheduled for the next time.
Try to avoid large fluctuations in the processing volume during production; at the same time, slightly reduce the pressure valves before and after the control valve to counteract internal leaks in the bypass line. To completely resolve this issue, production must be stopped
I agree with the approach suggested above; it is also the only way to keep going without stopping.

If the leakage is severe, the only option is to stop the operation; if the leakage is minor, careful handling is required – the control valve should be turned down and adjusted carefully, with constant attention paid to parameters such as valve position and flow rate, in order to prevent accidents caused by excessive leakage.
The internal leakage is minor and has no impact on production; prepare to replace the valve and wait for the right time to address it.
It’s impossible to handle it without shutting down the system; shutdown is the only option. Strengthen supervision and stay vigilant to any changes. This is the only way to handle it by shutting down the machine.

If the control valve still has some opening and can be adjusted, use it for now and fix it when there’s a chance to shut down the system
