Could methanol be loaded onto a ship using a transfer arm? Could methanol corrode the seals of such an arm, leading to seal failure? Where can I find information on the corrosive effect of methanol on sealing rings? ?

The oil transfer arm can be used! The sealing rings of our company’s EDC oil transfer arms are made of reinforced PTFE, with a 316L steel framework inside, which allows for automatic compensation for wear on the sealing rings. The sealing surface is polished, with a roughness of 0.8.
