Regarding the treatment of wastewater, what kind of profit can wastewater treatment plants generally expect to make? Thank you
For urban sewage treatment, under the current BOOT model, the average profit is above 0.5 yuan per cubic meter; it’s even higher for projects with a capacity of over 40,000 cubic meters. This is just my personal opinion for reference only
It’s 0.5 yuan per cubic meter; if the density is 1000 KG/M3, then processing one ton of water yields a profit of 0.5 yuan, right? I’m not sure if this is reasonable; if a plant with a daily processing capacity of 40 WT/D can generate 73 million in revenue per year from this, right? One cubic meter equals one ton, so how can the price rise from 0.5 yuan per cubic meter to 5 yuan per ton?

In my opinion, there is no profit involved; for companies dealing with wastewater, there is no tangible profit to be gained, only intangible benefits – environmental protection
