If there is a large temperature difference, it is best not to use cast iron or ductile iron! It’s fine to choose cast steel!
The selection of valve body material is very important. Using low-temperature materials in high-temperature environments reduces their strength; under the same pressure, the valve body may crack, leading to accidents. Low-temperature resistant materials also need to be chosen carefully, especially in the case of liquid hydrocarbon media, as the consequences of a leak can be severe.
