How did the Southern Chemical Plant cope with the snow disaster?

There were snow disasters in the south of our country this year; I wonder how my colleagues in the south managed to get through it! Faced with severe climate conditions, do factories shut down or continue operating? How do you carry out anti-freezing measures?
It is estimated that many factories have stopped operating, mainly due to a lack of electricity; anti-freezing is a secondary issue. It’s really hard to believe that the climate has become so unpredictable. It’s all humans tricking themselves – they’ve been given a lesson, haven’t they!
Affected by coal shortages and power restrictions, production capacity has been reduced to a minimum to ensure continuous operation without shutdowns, while strict measures are taken to prevent freezing. Fortunately, it’s all over now, and production is gradually returning to normal.
Since the raw materials can’t be supplied, production has to stop. All the water in the pipes is drained to prevent them from freezing.
If you keep production going, it will stop anyway in the event of a sudden power outage – so why go to the trouble?
Production has been maintained, with electricity allocation kept at a very low level. If parked, it is more difficult to prevent the system from freezing. The company has formulated corresponding plans to adjust production loads due to power restrictions, and has strengthened the duty presence of management staff.
Our company did a good job in preparing for emergency anti-freezing measures and the preparations ahead of the New Year, so things went fairly smoothly; there was only a slight reduction in workload
After production stops, things might become even more unpredictable. Accidents can always happen. Congratulations to my colleagues in the South for successfully withstanding this universe-scale challenge.
Production continued, as there were no issues with electricity or raw materials; it was only the pipes that were used intermittently that froze up. A lot of time and effort was spent dealing with those pipes, and many others cracked due to freezing. What was most affected by the cold were the water pipes in my house – PVC pipes that broke due to the freezing. It took me a day to fix them, but they broke again just a couple of days later; it’s infuriating!
Thanks to the on-site power plant, electricity supply was hardly affected and production capacity remained largely unchanged. However, one set of expansion units could not be commissioned on time due to poor road transportation conditions in the surrounding area, and it came online after the Spring Festival. The position has measures to protect against cold and freezing, and I haven’t heard of any serious consequences!
