How to determine the thickness of the container shell of the half-pipe jacket? There seems to be no standard. The shell bears both internal and external pressure, but the entire area is not subject to external pressure. How should we determine this? Also, is it related to the gap and winding angle of the half pipe? Thanks for the answer!
If you want to calculate carefully, you can look at the HG21574 mixing equipment. The length of the external pressure is quite small and the half pipe itself has a strengthening effect.
If you are really worried, you can press the full external pressure design, which is very safe.
