I would like to ask what management model is most commonly used in domestic engineering projects these days? From the perspective of large-scale projects, project management can be carried out by the owner themselves, entrusted to a management company, or handed over to a contractor under an EPC or Turnkey arrangement. For smaller projects, are the owners usually responsible for them themselves? If I want to start in project management, which industry or company would be a good choice? In terms of the management of a specific project, it encompasses aspects such as organization, personnel, funding, schedule, risks, equipment, quality, safety, information, environment, evaluation, and acceptance. Although these elements are complex, they are interconnected, interdependent, and follow inherent patterns. By organizing and managing the elements of these contents in a proper manner, the overall objectives of project management and control can be effectively achieved. Therefore, establishing a core methodology framework for project management involves viewing a project as an \"engineering system that consists of multiple distinct, interrelated, and interacting elements, is in a state of motion, exists within a certain environment, and exists to achieve an overall goal\", while also clarifying the project objectives that need to be controlled. Project management involves organizing a large amount of human and material resources within limited time, space, and budget constraints, in order to achieve the project goals in an orderly manner. Therefore, the main goal of the company regarding project management is to achieve the best possible performance in all project implementation activities through proper planning and control, so as to meet the expected requirements regarding quality, schedule, and cost, **complete the project tasks, and enable the company to gain a competitive advantage in the market. Some international standardized project management methodologies encompass standards and techniques such as ISO10006, C/SCSC, EVM, and PMBOK. The core module technology for evaluating the performance of project execution was developed in the United States in the 1970s. It was first applied in defense projects with success, and later extended to other fields. The application targets of project execution effectiveness evaluation techniques are the three main objectives in traditional project management: quality, cost, and schedule. This technology enables a comprehensive evaluation of a project’s cost/schedule performance while meeting quality requirements. By using project performance evaluation techniques for the comprehensive management of a project’s costs, schedule, and quality, it is possible to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional approach, which involves controlling schedule, cost, and quality separately (for example, when an expense overrun is detected, it is difficult to immediately determine whether it is due to an accelerated schedule, cost overruns, or issues related to quality). A project should include: clear objectives; a plan to achieve those objectives; processes to ensure the implementation of the plan. The definition of project management is independent of the project timeline, complexity, or resource allocation.
