Duties of the mechanic: 1. Implement equipment and power management systems as well as technical regulations; guide operators and maintenance staff to ensure the proper use of equipment, carry out thorough maintenance, apply lubrication appropriately, and conduct maintenance in a proper manner. 2. Make the operation and inspection of monitoring equipment, as well as the implementation of maintenance tasks, important parts of daily activities. 3. Assist the workshop equipment supervisor in organizing equipment inspection and evaluation activities, formulate and implement corrective measures to eliminate potential equipment problems as well as any leaks or inefficiencies, thereby improving the equipment’s reliability. 4. Prepare the maintenance plan for the workshop, be responsible for providing technical instructions prior to maintenance, conducting quality checks during maintenance, and handling vehicle testing, acceptance, and record-keeping after maintenance. 5. Responsible for preparing plans for spare parts of finished products, maintenance materials, recycling of used items, as well as annual, quarterly, and monthly maintenance schedules. 6. Responsible for the corrosion prevention, lubrication, technical upgrades, new materials and technologies related to equipment, as well as the management of pressure vessels and pipelines. 7. Responsible for the management of equipment archives, technical drawings, and fixed asset registers.

Work Standards for Mechanical Specialists 1. Basic Tasks 1.1 Under the leadership of the workshop supervisor and deputy supervisor, be responsible for the management of equipment in the workshop. 2. Job Responsibilities 2.1 Under the operational supervision of the Plant Machinery Department, assist the deputy director of workshop equipment in managing the equipment; provide technical leadership to the staff assigned to the maintenance teams, as well as technical guidance regarding the use and maintenance of the equipment. 2.2 Be familiar with, master, implement, and enforce the superior authorities’ regulations on mechanical equipment management, technical specifications, rules, and various institutional policies. Guide operators and maintenance workers in the proper use of equipment, its careful maintenance, and thorough inspection. 2.3 Responsible for the technical aspects related to the operation, handling, and maintenance of workshop equipment; conduct daily inspections to monitor the equipment’s performance ； Fill out the work orders for major, medium, and minor repairs of the equipment; provide detailed instructions to the construction workers for major projects ； Participate in the formulation and revision of management systems for equipment maintenance and related equipment, and implement them after obtaining approval from the higher-level competent authorities. 2.4 Assist in preparing the annual major maintenance plan, plans for major and medium-scale equipment repairs as well as preventive maintenance, pressure vessel inspection plans, equipment renewal plans, and sporadic procurement plans, and submit them on time. 2.5 Assist the deputy director of workshop equipment in organizing equipment inspection and evaluation tasks. And formulate corrective measures to promptly address the defects and improve the condition of the equipment. 2.6 Responsible for the management of anti-corrosion, sealing, lubrication of workshop equipment, pressure vessels, as well as technical upgrades and innovations. 2.6.1 Monitor the operating conditions of the equipment to prevent it from operating outside the limits permitted by the anti-corrosion measures. 2.6.2 Carry out proper sealing work in the workshop in accordance with the requirements of the sealing point management regulations. 2.6.3 Carry out proper lubrication management for workshop equipment in accordance with the requirements of the lubricant usage management regulations. 2.6.4 Manage, utilize, and maintain pressure vessels in accordance with the requirements of the relevant regulations on the management of pressure vessels. 2.7 Carry out proper maintenance work on the workshop equipment in accordance with the requirements of the equipment maintenance management regulations. 2.8 Establish and maintain various registers and technical archives, and properly store technical documents, maintenance and testing records, equipment operation hours, equipment accident records, as well as records of past maintenance work, experiments, evaluations, and structural modifications. 2.9 Compile and submit the annual, quarterly, and monthly mobility reports on time and accurately. 2.10 In accordance with the requirements of technical archive management regulations, technical archives, registers, equipment cards, and records shall be filled out in neat handwriting and on time. 3 Work Authorization 3.1 One has the right to stop and reprimand those who engage in illegal operations or reckless maintenance work. 3.2 For maintenance and construction projects whose quality does not meet the requirements, the right exists to refuse acceptance and order them to be redone. 3.3 Authority to issue orders to shut down equipment with serious defects or equipment that endangers safe production.
