I really wonder how much of the theoretical knowledge people have from books they can apply in their actual work, and whether they are all just busy with selecting components, preparing documents, and drawing diagrams. How many people actually apply the principles of self-control and logical thinking that they have learned? Have you used the simplest transfer function? This is probably why self-control has not seen rapid development these days; everyone is focusing their efforts on learning the little bits of knowledge from others’ experiences.
The reason why self-control cannot develop rapidly is the existence of a way to solve problems from a purely mathematical perspective, independent of the object in question! For system integration, very in-depth knowledge isn’t necessarily required; having a broad range of knowledge is more important, I guess!
Much of the knowledge in books is only basic, aiming to give you comprehensive skills and an understanding of learning methods. There are fewer things that can be applied in actual work, unless one relies on research; in that case, it’s possible to keep learning and delving deeper in a certain direction.
Agree with the opinion above; book knowledge is the foundation. Of course, books must be combined with practice; otherwise, following them mechanically is meaningless
So, setting aside the improvement in a company’s reputation, I believe that for many instrument designers these days, having only a high school or junior high school education is sufficient (this is not meant to belittle those with lower educational levels; it’s just a matter of fact).
Things related to self-control are developing at an incredible pace. What is taught in schools is only theoretical knowledge, with very little of it being put into practice. Once in society, one has to keep learning based on those principles – truly, one must keep learning throughout life!
