A 1000-cubic-meter spherical tank sprayer is generally designed with 6 layers of spray nozzles. In northern regions, there is not much need to use sprinklers for cooling during the summer, as the walls of storage tanks are usually coated with insulating layers; even if sprinklers are used, it isn’t necessary to apply a large amount of water. Many companies use only one or two layers of such insulation. So why design so many? Can it be reduced?
Multi-layered spray pipes are generally fire suppression spray pipes, which need to be fully opened during a fire to ensure an effective cooling effect
For summer cooling sprays, a coil on the top of the tank is usually sufficient. Not a single section of the fire sprinkler pipes may be missing
