An increase in pressure difference indicates that the permeability of the mist catcher filter element has deteriorated. In other words, there is something wrong with the filter element. I don’t know what the process is in your factory. If it is direct washing, you need to check whether the circulation volume of the chlorine water washing tower is good or whether the wet filter is short-circuited.
1. The pressure rise of the sulfuric acid mist eliminator is generally due to the salt entrained in the chlorine gas and the sodium sulfate in the process.; 2. After washing with chlorine water, there is still salt in the entrained mist droplets. ; 3. After drying in the drying tower, after the water is removed, the salt will precipitate in the form of sodium chloride or sodium sulfate. ; 4. The pressure in the demister rises because salt adheres to the filter element, increasing the gas resistance. ; 5. The solution is to add a device to remove chlorine water after washing with chlorine water. It is recommended to use Monsanto Brinker mist eliminator. ; 6. The function of the demister is to remove the mist droplets entrained in the chlorine gas and to remove the salt at the same time. ; 7. After drying, there will be no salt attached to the acid foam remover, and the pressure rise will be slowed down. :lol
