However, naphthalene is present in the dimethyl residue, and during distillation, naphthalene can clog the pipes. How can this problem be solved? The pipeline is designed as an air jacket pipeline, with the cooler temperature controlled at around 60 degrees.
The improvement method can be determined based on the naphthalene content: Our factory generally follows this approach – steam tracing pipes are used when the naphthalene content is less than 40%, while steam jacketed pipes are used when it is greater than 40%; this can serve as a reference.
