Beginners would like to ask: What exactly do pipeline engineers in the chemical industry do? For example, are all the water supply, drainage, HVAC and gas power pipelines in other design institutes done by pipeline professionals (excluding buried pipelines, of course)? Or are they just pipelines on outdoor pipe bridges?
Those in the chemical industry naturally work in the chemical industry. Our water supply and drainage here are handled by water supply and drainage professionals. We don’t know much about gas power, so there should be specialized professionals. As long as it is a chemical pipeline, regardless of location, it includes all ground, buried, and overhead pipelines. We also have to do our own public works. According to a division of Sinopec, pipelines are divided into: Long-distance pipelines, industrial pipelines, public engineering pipelines.
