Where can I find thermocouples of type K with a diameter of 1 mm, a length of 2 m to 4.5 m, available in bundles of 16 pieces each, with the total outer diameter of the bundle being less than 8 mm, for use on fixed beds?
Your requirements are too high. Even if thermocouples with a diameter of 1 mm can be made, the diameter including the outer insulation will definitely exceed 1.5 mm, and 16 of them together will certainly exceed 8 mm.
The chances are very low; the platinum-rhodium alloy we use is quite thin, and it’s unlikely to meet your requirements, not to mention the need for an outer sleeve as well. Moreover, such thin tubes are likely to be very expensive
Chuanyi has it; our company has used it.
This is a multi-point temperature sensing thermocouple; it has some points, but not that many. However, you can add more temperature sensing points to supplement it
It should be available; there are manufacturers here that produce it
I’ve only seen thermocouples with an outer coating of at least 3mm; I need to talk to the manufacturer, but it’s hard to say whether the manufacturing technology can meet the requirements
I’ve seen the thermocouples made by Xi’an Aviation on catalytic burners; they are quite thin. You could ask about them at Xi’an Aero-Engine Corporation
Some specifications may not be available from manufacturers, especially those that are not commonly used. If needed, it is possible to contact the manufacturer to have them produced customly; there should be no problem with that.
