In fact, there are many differences in the manufacturing processes, and every company has different requirements regarding them. I spent 5 years working on process development at a pharmaceutical design firm; our focus there was mainly on layout planning, with the goal of meeting GMP and FDA requirements ； Later, work in fine chemicals began, and gradually more effort was required in piping, calculations, and material balance ； I’ve now joined a foreign company, and I need to focus on the specific equipment there, as well as handling things like bidding processes. I actually think it was better in the past – one had to understand a bit of every specialty involved in the process, and then take into account the client’s requirements in order to assign tasks to people from other specialties. The process is led by Mr. Xiang. It’s not the same in foreign companies. I’m not sure if what I’m saying is correct; I hope the seniors can share their experiences and talk about the direction in which the technology is developing.
