How to replace the heat exchanger shell

In production, shell leaks in some heat exchangers can occur; to completely replace the shell, the old shell is cut out and replaced, followed by pressure testing. What are your valuable opinions on this, gentlemen? Are there any solutions that can be used as a reference? Let’s discuss!
A shell leak can usually be repaired; when it comes to the point where the shell needs to be replaced, I think it’s better to discard it.
