Our company is an oil refining enterprise with a relatively short industrial chain; the main types of wastewater involved are those from atmospheric and vacuum distillation as well as catalytic cracking. For some reason, the sludge in the aeration tanks has been grayish-white recently, which is not the color of normal activated sludge. In the currently in use aeration tanks, the sludge is mainly gray-brown; it’s acceptable, but as soon as there is a change, it quickly turns gray-white. :(The current pH value of the sludge return stream is relatively low, around 6, and the sludge settling ratio is approximately 30.
