Our factory encountered the following problems during the construction process: The pipeline filter was purchased as national standard equipment, but later it was discovered that the pipeline was purchased as American standard equipment. How should the matching flange on the filter be purchased so that it can be well connected to the pipeline? There is also the fact that the equipment manufacturer has designed the matching flange of the heat exchanger to be a national standard flange. Now it has been sent to the manufacturer. Personally, I think it is more troublesome. There is a difference between the national standard flange and the American standard flange. There is also a gap between the inner diameter of the national standard flange and the American standard flange. When processing, the counter flange should be equipped according to the equipment interface flange standard. This flange is welded to the American standard pipe. If the difference is large or the requirements are strict, it should be partially polished. When the mutual matching gap is large, the only option is to thicken the wall tube.
If the pressure is very low, you can directly process a flange to use.
1. If time permits, re-purchase a matching flange with the same standard as the equipment interface flange. 2. If time is tight and the requirements are not high, matching flanges with the same standard as the equipment interface flange can be processed on site. 3. If time is tight and there is really no other way, you can consider replacing the equipment interface flange. The premise is that a detailed implementation plan must be prepared and submitted to the relevant departments for filing and approval. 4. Preventive measures: When ordering equipment, the equipment supplier must also provide equipment matching flanges, bolts/nuts, and sealing gaskets, which can effectively solve such problems.
