I'm quite confused right now. There are many experts in Haichuan, so I'm here to ask everyone for advice.: I graduated with a master's degree in 2004, majoring in industrial catalysis. After graduation, I did not go out to work. I stayed in a company of my mentor (I was the only one) and continued to cooperate with my mentor. Although our major is industrial catalysis, what we do is process development, and our instructors are pretty good in this area. We have transferred complete sets of technologies for chemical intermediates in Shandong and Jiangsu, including engineering design. I wanted to learn something useful, and I was impressed by what my tutor did. In addition, the tutor also noticed that I was relatively hard-working, so he let me stay after graduation. Things may not develop according to my wishes. In the past four years, I have had a lot of confusion and am a little confused about the future. Please give me some advice.: 1. I don’t want to work for others all my life, so I didn’t go to a formal unit after graduation. I worked directly with chemical companies from my mentor and learned a lot of broad things. But when it comes to starting my own business, what is the right thing to do? When is the right time? 2. My tutor was good to me, and the salary level was okay, but I didn’t consider the salary issue when I graduated. What I pursued was development. After all, he was a teacher in the school, and he had good guarantees in all aspects, so he couldn’t make great strides. 3. I feel that the project cycle we develop is too long. It usually takes 2 years from laboratory to engineering design. However, fine chemical projects cannot be transferred repeatedly, which is too tiring and ineffective. Later, we cooperated with Tianjin Chemical Design Institute (civil engineering, electrical, piping, fire protection, and safety design institute). 4. Development is risky, and the development risks are basically borne by ourselves, so the selection of development topics is very important, but I have always been confused about the topic selection. I don’t know where to start to choose a fine chemical project that is both easy to develop and has market benefits? 5. Is there a future for me if I do this? If I don’t work here anymore, will I be welcome to go out? After all, starting a business is difficult. If you don’t have good opportunities, you can only work for others. It’s been four years, I’m no longer young, and my age capital is getting less and less. How should I develop? This post was last edited by blindsc on 2008-2-23 15:36 ]
Talents, your academic background and work experience are in great demand by many fine chemical companies, especially your experience in cooperating with design institutes is even more valuable. You can go to some fine chemical companies of a certain scale in Jiangnan to apply for R&D managers, project leaders, etc. They should be very popular because they like you as a versatile person. :handshake
There is a company, German Southern Chemical, which is recruiting people. You can try it.
If you want to continue to develop professionally, then stay. This kind of environment is conducive to learning. If you pursue worldly fame and fortune, then come out. Starting a business is probably too difficult. Go to an enterprise. There is a lot of room for development!
You are fully capable, and as long as you take the right path, you have a high chance of success.
In fact, this problem is easy to solve, it just depends on what you want to do.
Personally, I feel that you have wasted a lot of time. In fact, you should plan your life carefully and don't work hard. Then you will have no direction. It is time to find a direction for yourself. Don't be confused by what you see in front of you. Go through the fog and find what you want. Work hard for it and you will definitely not go wrong. :handshake
Working in the chemical industry is quite troublesome if you don't want to work for someone else. After all, the investment in a factory is too big. Let others do it first. .
If your mentor is very good, you are very good. This is how our chief engineer got through it. Now he is very good. He is also young. You can stay for another four years.
You must first make it clear whether you want to start a business or go to a company to enjoy high salary, and be professional. If it’s the former, then you have enough professional capital and you need to measure whether you have the confidence and financial capital to enter the market and fight hard. ; If it's the latter, then depending on your qualifications, it should be easy to find a position responsible for research and development, such as the person in charge of the technology center. This aspect is still very popular in the enterprise, and it will also be very beneficial to your later development.
If you go out and make a living, you won’t be able to stay with your mentor forever, and there is no guarantee! Now that you have good experimental and development experience, you can go to a research institute or a foreign company to try it out :D
The host is very nice, the prospects are very good, and he is very popular when he goes out, but there are many specific things to consider in the company!
It is true that it is unfair to work in an environment without status. It is time to go out and have a try. After all, you have to go out eventually. It is better to go out early. The salary issue is not the topic of discussion now. The key is to lay a career foundation.
There is a question about you that you have never understood: what do you want to pursue? In fact, you have always had a dream of being a boss in your heart!
In fact, you are quite good. I have been working shifts in the workplace for three years and have learned nothing. It hasn't improved yet, and it's too troublesome to go out and find a job. It was only a few years ago that I suddenly felt that the past days were wasted. I have no idea whether to take the postgraduate entrance examination, self-study examination, or change jobs. I am as troubled as the Buddha who has conquered the battle. I dare to ask where is the way?
Same thing, same situation. I don’t know what to do. It’s really discouraging to think that this life has ended like this. .
Go to the south! There are more opportunities there, and the chemical industry is quite popular now.
Nanjing Chemical Industry Park is in great need of such talents.
I am also very confused about my future. My previous life plans can no longer be realized. Now I have no goals, no direction, and am lost.
I only have the basics of operation now, but what can I do when I get outside? Will you continue to be an operator? That's really depressing. I haven't even done a report.
In fact, what the author now has is real talent, theoretical knowledge, four years of technical experience, and a lot of cooperation with design institutes. The future is definitely bright, but the author is not sure about his future development direction. The author’s ideal is to start a business and do it on his own, but he is afraid that he will not be able to do it. At this stage, he feels that it is better to go to an enterprise to be the person in charge of technology research and development. If you really want to do it yourself, you can set up another business, but this requires courage and determination.
