Discussion on Publishing the Technical Special Issue of the HaiChuan Chemical Industry Forum

I often visit forums to learn*, and I feel that I gain something new every time, but I always think there’s something missing in these forums? It was only after visiting other forums that I realized our forum lacks its own special issue! Though I am not very accomplished, I would like to suggest that the forum publish periodic or ad-hoc \"Technical Special Issues of the HaiChuan Chemicals Forum\" to compile articles and materials from a certain period in the forum and release them in the form of special issues, thereby facilitating learning for everyone. The content can be determined through discussion among all members; I’ll start by offering some initial ideas: 1) Establish an editorial board with a chief editor and editors, composed of administrators, moderators, or members of the technical team ； 2) Develop a plan for publishing the special issue along with its scope of content. 3) Establish criteria for selecting articles to be included. As for the content of the special issue, I suggest the following: 1. A compilation of the best materials from various fields: catalogs and brief descriptions as well as reviews can be provided, allowing everyone to vote on the candidate materials. 2. Original Content Section: Selected by administrators and moderators. 3. My Experiences at Haichuan: An opportunity for people to share what they have gained from being at Haichuan. 4. Industry Development and Prospects: A summary and outlook on the development of various industries. . . . . . . . . . For the articles and materials selected, the moderators and administrators pay a certain “fee” (wealth) as compensation! I’m not sure if anyone has asked this before; if there’s any similarity, please have the administrator delete it – no point in deducting points! :)
I think it’s a good idea, but not having a certificate doesn’t help anyone get rated as an engineer, right?:L
I can’t agree! First, there is the issue of design copyright; second, there are cost issues; third, there are problems related to organizing distribution, i.e., cost issues!
