Our factory plans to install a new AO wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 100 m3/h. The COD level in the incoming wastewater is around 2000 ppm, while the ammonia nitrogen level is around 1500 ppm. The treated wastewater will meet the standards for discharge into the environment. What is the approximate investment cost for such a system?
An ammonia nitrogen level of around 1500 ppm is probably too high; using an AO wastewater treatment system alone cannot ensure that the wastewater meets the discharge standards. I also want to know what specific treatment process would be necessary – looking forward to it.
I agree with the comment above; with such high levels of ammonia nitrogen, it is almost impossible to meet the standards by using the A/O process directly without any pretreatment. The investment per ton of water is calculated at 1,500 yuan, which amounts to around 3.6 million yuan; this figure is for reference only. Personal opinions on the manufacturing process definitely won’t do
