I would like to ask those of you who have experience for your advice: 1. For chlorine treatment (5W), we used Naismith pumps in the past; what kind of equipment should we use now (compressors... or something else?). There will also be a 70,000-ton capacity phase 3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of using these new devices compared to Naismith pumps? I appreciate any guidance you can provide. 2. There is a company in Hangzhou that manufactures chlorine compressors; originally, Jinhua Machinery was responsible for their production. Hangzhou is okay. However, compressors have strict requirements regarding the water content in chlorine gas. Nash pumps are relatively expensive.
Hangzhou Qiushi offers acceptable quality; I agree with the suggestion from the second floor and am against continuing to use Naisch pumps. Regarding hydrogen, I’m not sure which region in the country the poster is in; if it’s an economically developed area, it’s recommended to use highly pure hydrogen, though its price will be quite high. Also, hydrogen is playing an increasingly important role as a future alternative to oil, and technology in this area is expected to develop rapidly in the coming years. This is beneficial for chlor-alkali companies, as most of them use hydrogen in reactions to produce other products for sale, without paying much attention to hydrogen itself. Because the Naïs pump also requires sulfuric acid for circulation! For example: Our company produces 70,000 tons of diaphragms per year, and four Naisch pumps are required to maintain production, whereas 70,000 tons of ion exchange membranes only require two turbines to meet the production needs! At the same time, the pump also requires an acid cooling coil. Pump acid coolers break down frequently! I suggest using a turbine instead
You can consider using a centrifugal compressor, or you can consider a turbine. Our factory uses hydrogen to produce adamantane and 99% caustic soda.
