What fuel to use for heating the furnace

Our factory plans to install two sets of four-nozzle gasification furnaces. Regarding the fuel gas supply and control system during furnace drying, according to the process package, the available options are flare gas and diesel. The process package specifies that 6580 Mcal/h of fuel gas is required, while the calorific value of flare gas is 1853 kcal/Nm3. Based on these figures, the required volume of flare gas is 3550 Nm3/h. Is such a large volume really necessary? (More calculations are planned here, such as using quantitative values for diesel, liquefied gas, raw gas, etc.) It is unclear which economic and technical indicator is more reasonable.

Our furnace uses liquefied petroleum gas to reach 600°C, after which diesel is used instead. Using a diesel furnace can easily cause blockages in the preheating nozzles, especially at lower temperatures; 800°C is a better temperature for this purpose. However, it’s best to use natural gas, as it is the most economical option.
Lunan uses gas, while the Wei River region uses LPG
