For chemical plants, compressors are one of the key pieces of equipment. I would like to ask: in both newly built and existing plants, how are the rotors of the compressor units backed up? Are there always spare rotors available? Thank you
The price of compressor rotors is too high, which results in significant inventory buildup. We don’t have any spare parts for imported units, but spare parts for other domestic units are being prepared step by step. In my opinion, it’s still necessary to use online condition monitoring/fault diagnosis to analyze the operation of the rotors, and then determine when to order spare parts.
